True Mother Hak Ja Han Moon an Anthology

We gather at this time to honor the life and legacy of my beloved husband, the Reverend Sun Myung Moon, who ascended to the spiritual world two years ago. On this second anniversary of his Seonghwa (Ascension), I have commissioned a wide range of programs, such as the World Summit, not only to pay tribute to my husband and the providential work we have carried out together over many decades but also to blaze a trail forward toward the fulfillment of God's providence. I pray that we can work together to achieve this goal, which has been the hope of all the ages, and the hope of God.
We are living in a truly historic and providential moment. This is a time of great heavenly fortune, the time when we will build the ideal world of peace that heaven and earth have longed to see for 6,000 years. It is time to build the Kingdom of God in Heaven and on Earth.
As the president of Women's Federation for World Peace, I deeply appreciate your efforts to establish the Korean chapter of YFWP on the national level with sincere heart and effort. I am sure that your hard work is the driving force for YFWP to establish local chapters throughout Korea and march forward in such a short period of time.
The fulfillment of the Heavenly Parent's ideal of creation is rooted in family values. However, we see today that those values are rapidly deteriorating. It was in order to firmly establish true family values and fulfill the Heavenly Parent's Will to establish one family under God, that my late husband, the Reverend Sun Myung Moon, and I began our providential work in the United States in 1971. Since that time, we have devoted ourselves to advocating true family ideals and values.
During yesterday's rally my husband spoke based on the theme of a model, ideal family. In the East there is a saying: ''All is well if there is harmony within the family.” This is a beautiful statement. When we talk about a home, we also talk about the people who live there. This would include every member of the family, from the grandparents to parents, young couples and children. But actually there is more to it than meets the eye.
Ladies and gentlemen, as we begin the twenty-first century, we find ourselves at a truly historic turning point. We are at a point of decision. Can everlasting world peace take root, or are we doomed to repeat the twentieth century's dark and oppressive history of war and conflict?
When a man and woman become one centering on true love, they form an ideal couple and build an ideal family. By doing so, they stand in a position representing God and thus are connected to everything in the universe. When this happens, all of God's possessions become theirs. Think how wonderful that would be! This is the reason we naturally desire to have dominion over all creation.
Today the world is lost in great confusion and cries out in agony. We face endless conflict as individuals, in our families, in our nations and in the world. As individuals, we are confronted with inner turmoil between our mind and body. Families are affected by the moral decadence of young people and the breakdown of family-centered traditions. Historical rivalries lead to distrust and even war among our nations, fanning the embers of uncertainty and hopelessness in the world. The solution to all these problems lies in developing an ideal love relationship with God.
